BAATN Gathering
African Diaspora Gathering
This group is for therapists and students whose heritage and ancestry are African and/or African Diasporan.
Monthly ⋅ 10:00am – 12:30pm
Outline
These gatherings present a unique chance for therapists and practitioners of African descent to delve into self-exploration within a liberated and secure environment. The objective is to foster a collective understanding of our shared journey, offer mutual support, and ignite inspiration for our clinical practice.
As this is an African affirmative space, we ask that participants subscribe to this definition:
“All people of African descent whether they live in North or South America, the Caribbean or in any other part of the world are Africans.”
— (Kwame Nkrumah, Class Struggle in Africa, page 87.)
